With just over two days to go until the summer transfer window closes, Roma’s management is still searching for the left-back Gasperini has requested.

Negotiations for Gittens, one of Gasperini’s favorites for the winger role, are becoming increasingly complex.

According to The Guardian, Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to part with the Englishman in these final hours of the transfer window.

As the English newspaper writes, Gittens is part of the plans for this season of new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, who absolutely has no intention of letting go of the former Borussia Dortmund player just a few days before the end of this negotiation session.
