Manchester City winger Joel Ndala has agreed to move to PSV Eindhoven on an initial season-long loan.

The teenager is set to become the latest exit from the City Football Academy this summer, with Manchester City having approved a series of permanent and temporary exits for a host of players within the academy set-up.

Liam Delap and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have both completed multi-million moves to Premier League clubs, meanwhile the likes of Alex Robertson and Micah Hamilton have signed for Cardiff City and Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship.

Ndala, who was part of Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad for the recent four-match pre-season tour of the United States, featured 23 times for Manchester City youth teams last season, but has never made a competitive first-team appearance.

The winger has been at the City Football Academy since 2017, and featured 23 times across five different competitions during the 2023/24 campaign, including appearances in the Premier League 2, UEFA Youth Cup and EFL Trophy.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester City and PSV have agreed a deal for the teenager to move to the Eredivisie, with the transfer being an initial season-long loan but including a mandatory purchase clause.

Manchester City are reportedly in discussions with PSV executives to also include a buy-back and sell-on clause within the transfer agreement.

Simon Bajkowski reports that the Dutch top-flight club have an extended deadline to complete the deal, as the transfer window in the Netherlands is open until midnight on Tuesday 2 September.

Ndala is one of only a few deadline day deals expected to be completed by Manchester City, who have made just two summer additions to the first-team this summer, signing both Savinho and Ilkay Gundogan.
