Roma are said to be tracking OGC Nice executive Florent Ghisolfi as their next sporting director.

The capital club have reportedly narrowed their search for Tiago Pinto’s successor and are closing in on a new sporting director ahead of the summer transfer window.

Yesterday’s reports that Roma had identified OGC Nice’s Ghisolfi as their leading candidate have been confirmed by French media as well.

Today’s report by Nice-Matin claims Ghisolfi met with Roma a few weeks ago and has been in steady contact with Roma’s ownership.

The Giallorossi plan to unveil their new sporting director shortly, along with the announcement of Daniele De Rossi’s new long-term contract as the team’s head coach.
