Pep Guardiola says the key attribute needed in the run-in is a strong mindset with vital games coming thick and fast.
City are challenging on four fronts - five points behind Arsenal but with a game in hand in the Premier League, in the final of the Carabao Cup against the Gunners, the fifth round of the FA Cup as we travel to Newcastle and the Champions League Round of 16 as we look ahead to a two-leg clash with Real Madrid.
Guardiola believes our attitude and mentality will be vital as we look to navigate a bulging calendar and enjoy a fantastic finale to the season.
“Always I think when you arrive at two months, now it’s three months, now February is over, March arrive here, everything is a mindset,” he said.
“It’s okay, one game at a time and do everything to win the game. At the end it is what you have to do.”
City defeated Leeds 1-0 this past weekend at Elland Road, the winning goal coming via January recruit Antoine Semenyo.
The result meant three of our last four Premier League victories have come by a solitary goal.
Guardiola was asked whether it was sustainable to keep winning in such tight circumstances.
But the boss stressed the difficulty of every opponent and how picking up three points each week is all that really matters.
“I said to the players, score five goals today, you know, but they don’t follow me,” he joked.
“If it looks easy, this business, you are wrong.
“It’s not easy when they make a lot of transitions and they have the chances.
“Today they didn’t have much. We didn’t have much, but from there, we’ll build up.
“There are some players coming back, Jeremy’s [Doku] back, Erling [Haaland] will be back, and as much as you have players fit, we will do it.

“This team [Leeds] drew at Stamford Bridge, right? And the team that drew at Aston Villa for 88 minutes was winning 1-0, these are two teams in the Champions League.
“It’s an incredible team. Daniel [Farke] had made an incredible team. So it isn’t easy.”
We welcome Forest to the Etihad Stadium at 19:30 (UK) on Wednesday 4 March.
And you can be there to see it as Pep Guardiola’s City continue to chase Premier League glory.
