His comments were met with immediate, loud and united resistance from shareholders and supporters who refused to be talked down to. They were designed to be insulting. They served only to remind us further of our identity which supporters hold dear.

On Sunday 7 December, a Fan March has been organised from our origins at St Mary’s, Calton to our home at Celtic Park. We will assemble at 1.15pm and make our way peacefully to the stadium ahead of an important match.

Along the route, we will pass a Green Brigade Foodbank Collection point, where supporters are encouraged to donate non-perishable food or toiletries to those in need this Christmas.

All Celtic fans are invited to join us as we embark on a unifying and defiant celebration of everything good about Celtic Football Club.

“A PEOPLE AND A CAUSE.”
