Fulham are in talks with Manchester City over a £35 million deal to sign highly-rated winger Oscar Bobb, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Bobb, who signed a long-term contract with City in February 2024, has struggled for consistent minutes after a serious Achilles injury sidelined him for much of the 2024-2025 season.
He has been behind the likes of Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki in Pep Guardiola’s pecking order, while the recent arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth also further limits his chances of first-team action.
Consequently, City are open to parting ways with Bobb to prevent overcongestion of attacking options and recoup some of the funds already spent in the current winter window.
Despite bringing in Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin last summer, Fulham are keen on more reinforcements at the top end of the pitch.
However, Interest in Bobb is not limited to Fulham, with Borussia Dortmund also keen on a move, although it is unclear if the Bundesliga outfit will make a formal approach to Man City.
For Fulham, securing Bobb would represent a statement of intent for a side that have recovered from an early-season slump to sit 11th in the Premier League table.
With only four points separating them from Manchester United in fifth, Marco Silva’s men have European football in their sights.
Off the back of a first defeat in seven matches across all competitions against Leeds United last time out, the Cottagers will aim to return to winning ways at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
