Premier League side Fulham have rejected Napoli’s offer for midfielder Sasa Lukic.
Lukic has experience of playing in Serie A during his time at Torino, but he joined Fulham in the January of 2023 on the transfer deadline day. And it seems as if Napoli are interested in bringing him back to the Serie A.
Marco Conterio has reported that the Partenopei’s interest in the 27-year-old is genuine and an offer was put forward to the midfielder. Fulham kindly rejected it, as Napoli offered an initial loan deal worth €2.5 million and the option to buy him permanently set at €9 million.
The Serbian has made only 11 appearances in the Premier League this season, but he has played less than 400 minutes of first-team, which clearly suggests that he isn’t quite getting the minutes that he would want.
Napoli’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa will be missing due to AFCON and that would leave a berth in midfield free.
