Chelsea face Fulham at Craven Cottage in just over an hour, and the teams are in!

Calum McFarlane has been given a second chance to pick a lineup, although we’re sure there’s a lot of influence from the medical team, the sporting directors and incoming coach Liam Rosenior.

With an EFL Cup at the weekend likely allow for some rotation, the Blues are able to go pretty close to full strength against their local rivals Fulham.

Robert Sanchez returns from his minor injury to play in goal. Reece James played two and half of the last three games, so he’s left out here to rest. Malo Gusto is at right back.

Trevoh Chalobah stays central but Wesley Fofana is only on the bench, so Tosin Adarabioyo starts in the middle. Marc Cucurella returns from a hamstring twang to play at left back.

Moises Caicedo is back from suspension to play in midfield, where Andrey Santos is given a start to reward him for an impressive showing off the bench against Man City at the weekend. His presence in the double pivot pushes Enzo Fernandez forward to number 10, which in turn pushes Cole Palmer out wide to the right.

Pedro Neto switches to the left flank, and Liam Delap leads the line.

We been really interested to see this setup for some time, and we hope it works well. There’s tons of attacking talent on the bench to come on should we need it.

Here are the full team line-ups for Fulham vs Chelsea (kick off at 19:30 GMT)

In other news…

You can see how this compared with our predicted team which we lined up, here.

Chelsea’s new coach has done a brilliant first interview with the club which is enough to get anyone excited. That included big promises about playing attacking football, which we would love to see.
