Team News

Fulham

Fulham manager Marco Silva will have to do a midfield reshuffle for Saturday’s match, with Saša Lukić ruled out due to suspension after accumulating five yellow cards. The Cottagers also remain without key defender Antonee Robinson and striker Rodrigo Muniz, who both continue their recovery from injury and are unavailable for selection.

Sunderland

Régis Le Bris confirmed that defender Reinildo Mandava is fit. This comes despite an injury scare while on international duty. The Black Cats are also hopeful regarding Simon Adingra. The winger could overcome fatigue to feature. Meanwhile, Brian Brobbey is pushing for a start. He scored the equaliser against Arsenal. However, Wilson Isidor has been the regular fixture in attack. Aji Alese remains a long-term absentee.

Form Guide

Fulham

Fulham’s form remains patchy. A vital 3-0 win over Wolves provided relief, but they were unable to build on it, falling to a 2-0 defeat at Everton in their last outing. Notably, they rely heavily on their home form, having earned 10 of their 11 points at Craven Cottage this season. However, goalscoring remains an issue, as they have failed to score more than once in all but one game since September.

Sunderland

Sunderland have been a revelation. They sit fourth with 19 points, which is their best start to a top-flight season since 1999. Impressively, they have lost just twice all season. Furthermore, they are dangerous on the road. They notably won their last London trip against Chelsea. Their ability to create from set-pieces is a key weapon. Indeed, it accounts for nearly half of their non-penalty expected goals.

Predicted Lineups

Fulham predicted XI: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Iwobi, Berge; Wilson, King, Kevin; Jimenez

Sunderland predicted XI: Roefs; Hume, Mukiele, Ballard, Geertruida, Reinildo; Xhaka, Sadiki; Traore, Isidor, Le Fee
