Fulham are willing to let goalkeeper Fabri leave the club this summer, a report from Sky Sports Transfer Centre (06/07, 17:15) has claimed.

Fabri joined Fulham from Besiktas for a reported £5million back in the summer of 2018, but has so far struggled to settle in at Craven Cottage.

The Spaniard has made just two senior appearances for the Cottagers, while a spell out on loan with Mallorca during the 2019/20 campaign also failed to provide much in terms of game time, with Fabri playing just four times for the Spanish club.

Now however, it appears as though the 33-year-old could be on the move again this summer.

Did these 20 midfielders ever score a goal for Fulham?

According to this latest update, Fulham are open to allowing Fabri to leave the club on loan this summer, and are listening to loan offers for the ‘keeper, although the source of the interest remains to be seen.

The Verdict

This is an interesting one to consider from a Fulham perspective.

It certainly makes sense for Fabri to move on elsewhere for next season, given it is hard to see him getting much game time for Fulham in the coming campaign.

However, with his contract at Craven Cottage soon to come to an end, you wonder whether a permanent deal may be better for them to explore here, then they can at least receive some sort of a fee for the 33-year-old.

Indeed, with Alphonse Areola’s loan from PSG now over, and Marcus Bettinelli yet to agree a new deal, letting Fabri go would leave Marek Rodak as the club’s only senior goalkeeper, meaning this move would surely send the club into the market for a new option between the posts.
