‘Full Agreement Found’ – Top Tottenham Hotspur Talent Leaving N17 | OneFootball

Belgian side Westerlo have reached a ‘full agreement’ with Tottenham Hotspur to sign attacker Yang Min-hyeok on loan for the season.

Spurs have stepped up the pace on arranging exits for a number of players, with Manor Solomon in the closing stages of a switch to West Ham United, while Will Lankshear has been sold to Middlesbrough.

The north London side are also keen to find solutions for promising talents who are not in their immediate plans.

Yang falls into that category and the South Korean is now set to spend a season on loan in the Belgian top flight with Westerlo.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, a ‘full agreement found with Tottenham’ has sent Yang heading toward Belgium.

Yang has already undergone his medical with Westerlo, meaning the move is now imminent.

There are no further details available, though Spurs may well retain the right to bring him back in the January transfer window if they feel the loan is not working out.

They did the same last season when they ended Yang’s loan spell at Portsmouth and sent him to Coventry City.

Yang had made a good impression when given chances at Portsmouth and one commentator dubbed him ‘absolutely unbelievable’.

The season is already under way in Belgium and Yang will now be looking to settle in quickly at Westerlo and start playing games.

Spurs had Luka Vuskovic spend time at Westerlo as part of his development and now want to see Yang do the same.

Westerlo were drubbed 5-1 by Union SG in their Belgian Pro League opener at the weekend, but could be able to call upon Yang next weekend, when they are due to visit Genk.

The loan will mark the 20-year-old’s fourth temporary spell away from Tottenham, following on from stints at QPR, Portsmouth and Coventry City.
