Gabri Veiga, the Porto midfielder, has been voted I Liga player of the month for August, after already landing the month’s midfield prize.

According to O Jogo, the 24-year-old collected 19.05% of head coaches’ votes, ahead of Benfica forward Vangelis Pavlidis on 16.67% and Santa Clara striker Gonçalo Paciência on 11.90%.
