Gabriel Paulista was left with a large swelling on his forehead after an elbow from Carrillo during Corinthians’ Conmebol Libertadores quarter-final first leg at Estudiantes. The incident occurred in La Plata on Wednesday night, inside the first minute of the second half.

According to Globo.com, the centre-back stayed down but was able to continue. The referee awarded only a foul, with no card shown to the Estudiantes forward.
