Galatasaray has announced its roster of players eligible to participate in the Champions League group stage matches. The 24-man squad features four African players.

The Istanbul club’s head coach, Okan Buruk, has included Senegalese left-back Ismail Jakobs, Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina, Ivorian defender Wilfried Singo, and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The club’s marquee new signing, İlkay Gündoğan, former Manchester City star, is also in the squad, as is ex-Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

In the group stage, the Turkish league leaders will face Eintracht Frankfurt, Ajax Amsterdam, Monaco, and Manchester City away, as well as Liverpool, Bodo-Glimt, Union Saint-Gilloise, and Atlético Madrid at home.
