Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport offers an update on Lorenzo Pellegrini’s situation at Roma.
The atmosphere is tense in Trigoria where Lorenzo Pellegrini is no longer deemed central in the team’s plans.
Having been benched for three consecutive games, Pellegrini is now being increasingly linked with an anticipated exit from the Italian capital.
His contract is set to run out in 2026 and there is no agreement in sight over a new deal.
Relations between Roma and Pellegrini’s entourage are not ideal given Nicola Zalewski’s recent saga (the two players share the same agency).
According to the newspaper, Galatasaray have thus come forward as a concrete suitor, interested in acquiring Pellegrini either in January or the summer.
First inquiries have already been made and now the Turkish side are in regular contact with Pellegrini’s agent as well as Roma with the intent of formulating an offer for the midfielder.
