Galatasaray host Kayserispor in the Süper Lig on Sunday, 1 February 2026 in İstanbul, with the leaders aiming to cement top spot as the visitors try to haul themselves out of the relegation places.
Galatasaray have dominated recent meetings, including a 4-0 away win in August 2025. They lead the table on 46 points after 19 games, while Kayserispor sit 17th with 15.
Aslan arrive with two wins, two draws and one defeat from their last five in all competitions. Kayserispor are winless in five after three draws and two defeats.
Both sides are shorthanded. Aslan are without Leroy Sané (injury) and Baris Yilmaz (suspended), plus defenders Metehan Baltacı (suspended) and Arda Ünyay (injury). Kayserispor miss Gideon Jung and Majid Hosseini through injury, have Abdulsamet Burak suspended, and Emre Çeltik sidelined. Yilmaz leads the league for assists with seven, so his absence could reduce supply for the hosts.
On the pitch, Aslan's control stands out: 62% possession, 87.46% passing accuracy and 43 goals, with seven clean sheets. Mauro Icardi is fourth in the scoring chart with nine, supported by Victor Osimhen on seven. Kayserispor have conceded 37 and kept two clean sheets. German Onugha leads them with six goals and João Mendes has four assists. The visitors may look to wide delivery, with 324 crosses from open play at 19.44% accuracy and five headed goals, but Aslan's passing could dictate the tempo.
A win would move Aslan to 49 points and could tighten their grip on first place in the title race. Kayserispor would rise to 18 points with victory and could gain ground in the survival battle.
