Wilfried Singo played a pivotal role in matchday 7 of the Süper Lig. With a crucial assist for the only goal of the game, he was instrumental in Galatasaray's narrow victory over Alanyaspor.

After Galatasaray's 1-0 away win against Alanyaspor, Wilfried Singo spoke about the match and his involvement in the goal:

It's an important win for us, but there are still things we need to improve. We have to work harder. In the final minutes, we managed to stay strong as a team and kept the opposition from scoring.

Asked about his excellent play leading up to the decisive pass to Icardi, Singo added:

It's the result of the work we put in during training. I took my chance and Icardi scored. The most important thing is the team. Now, we have a crucial match ahead and we will prepare well for it.
