The Dutch defender has left the Blues to join Fenerbahce after a stellar spell at the Etihad.
Arriving in the summer of 2020, he played 177 times in total and won an astonishing 12 major honours.
That included four successive Premier League titles – a record in English football – as well as our first ever Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup triumphs.
A versatile and highly respected member of the squad, Ake was used both at centre-back and left-back throughout his time at City and regularly praised by Pep Guardiola for his attitude.
His most outstanding period in sky blue probably came in the run-in to the 2022/23 season, excelling on the left side of defence as we sealed an historic Treble.
He departs having helped the Blues to two major honours in his final term, the Carabao Cup after success over Arsenal and the FA Cup after triumphing over Chelsea.
