Pep Guardiola’s squad were back at the Etihad Campus following our Carabao Cup semi-final win over Newcastle United.
An Omar Marmoush double and Tijjani Reijnders strike secured a 3-1 victory on the night and 5-1 win on aggregate.
There were plenty of smiles around the first team as we confirmed a place in the Wembley final next month.
But the hard work doesn’t stop with a big Premier League clash against Liverpool on the horizon.
The City squad were putting in the hard work again ahead of the trip to Anfield on Sunday 8 February for the 16:30 (UK) kick-off.
