Khusanov pens new City contract

Khusanov joined the Club in January 2025 becoming the first Uzbek player to play in the Premier League.

He’s made a huge impression in the time since, showing pace and power in the backline as well as becoming a big hit with supporters.

The 22-year-old formed an impressive centre-back partnership with Marc Guéhi in the 2025/26 campaign as the Blues went on to win the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in Pep Guardiola’s final season in charge.

Now, as we begin the Enzo Maresca era, Khusanov has extended his deal by signing a fresh five-year deal to 2031.
