It was a difficult opening 30 minutes for Andée Jeglertz’s side as we found ourselves 2-0 down in Munich on Tuesday evening.

A Guilia Gwinn strike and Kerstin Casparij own goal left City with an uphill battle, but it was one we faced head on.

One step at a time, our comeback began with a Mead tap-in just before the break.

And after persistent wave of attacks, our relentless energy was rewarded when Wamser fired home her first City goal on 86 minutes.
