Milan got the win against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League in midweek, and yet the narrative after the game was far from overwhelmingly positive.

The same defensive woes reared their ugly head and Paulo Fonseca is a man under pressure to fix recurring issues. He did admit this in a testing pre-match press conference on the eve of the game, but now words must become action.

The Italian newspapers are unsurprisingly aware of the magnitude of the game for Milan, knowing that a failure to win would open up another crisis.
