Jeglertz ‘proud’ of City’s patience in Leicester win

Second-half goals from Bunny Shaw and Kerolin helped us record our ninth consecutive WSL victory under Andrée Jeglertz.

As a result, it marks our highest-ever tally after 10 WSL matches with 27 points.

Our patience and professionalism shone through to persevere against a tight Leicester defence and highlighted the belief our manager has instilled in his side.

The introduction of Kerolin with 20 minutes to play, who returned for her first appearance since September, was the real difference to our attacking prowess.

She provided the assist for Bunny’s first goal, before netting her own in stoppage time

Despite a goalless first half, which saw multiple chances dragged wide, we dug deep to secure the three points in yet another challenging game.
