Galo FA takes the field this Sunday (23) at 12:30 p.m. for one of the most anticipated matchups of the second round of the Brazilian American Football Championship. The team from Minas Gerais travels to the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro to face Vasco FA in a clash of giants from the Southeast Conference.

The game will be played at Dom Bosco Stadium, in the city of Queimados (RJ), and will be broadcast live nationwide on TV Galo FA on YouTube.

The Black-and-White Squad arrives in Rio riding the momentum of a dominant performance in its national competition debut, when it defeated Flamengo 55-0 in Belo Horizonte.

For this weekend’s matchup, the coaching staff focused on intensifying tactical and technical adjustments, while also integrating key players who arrived through major signings to raise the squad’s competitive level in the pursuit of the national title.

On the other side, the matchup also carries strong emotional and strategic weight: the quest for revenge. The last official meeting between the teams took place in October 2025, in the Southeast Conference playoffs, in a very tough game that ended with the Rio team advancing.

This time, Galo arrives with a revamped structure and full focus on imposing its style of play on the road.
