The Portuguese tactician admitted during his post-match press conference that he would actually like to have players on his squad who are willing to fight each other.

"Fighting is not a bad thing. Fighting doesn’t mean they don’t like each other. Fighting is when you lose the ball and you fight because you lost it and conceded a goal. That’s what I felt watching the match. I disagree with that sending off. So I’d say… You can fight among teammates. I know it’s violent behavior, the referee explained it. I don’t agree with that. I hope my players will fight among themselves when they lose the ball." he said at the end of the match.
