Hugo Gambor, central defender for La Gantoise, is set to join Kasımpaşa SK on loan. The Central African player is expected in Turkey within the next few hours to finalize his move.

The Central African is no longer part of Ivan Leko's plans. During the 2024-2025 season, Hugo Gambor featured in 19 league matches for La Gantoise. He scored one goal but did not provide any assists. In the Cup, the 22-year-old was not used. After appearing in pre-season matches, including against AZ Alkmaar, Gambor was left out of the squad for the first two matchdays of the Jupiler Pro League.

Looking to give him more playing time, the Belgian club has reached an agreement with Kasımpaşa for a loan without a purchase option for Hugo Gambor. Only the final administrative details remain before the move becomes official.
