Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini spoke to Sky Sport after the Giallorossi beat Rangers 0-2 away from home.

“Winning on these pitches is never easy; they’re very demanding teams physically. We had some difficulties in the second half, but that’s understandable.”

“It’s essential to create a solid attack, too; the second goal was an example of that. We’re getting better as a team in terms of communication.”

“I think we’ve definitely improved. At the start of the season we got results with unconvincing performances, other times the opposite, but defeats like those against Milan and Inter are very useful and we need to continue working to improve.”

“Dovbyk? He’s in superior physical condition, he’s involved in goals, and he came close to scoring. But overall, he’s improved a lot. We’re certainly suffering from the lack of three attacking players, but we hope to get them back as soon as possible.”
