Roma, after seven years away from the Champions League, are looking to show their best side again. And how can Gasperini keep Paulo Dybala out?

The Argentine star has been absent from the Champions League for four and a half years (Juventus-Villareal, March 2022) and is ready to lead the Giallorossi in his debut away to Fenerbahce.

Gian Piero Gasperini will entrust the attack to the number 21. The trip to Istanbul will require the experience of La Joya, as well as that of other key players like Hermoso and Molina.

Roma will rally around Paulo Dybala, who has been reborn thanks to Gasperini’s treatment: he’s already played 253 minutes in the league after just three games.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the Argentine star is among Gasperini’s most reliable players, which is why he’ll start on Thursday at 6:45 PM.

The Giallorossi coach will ask La Joya for another innovation to shuffle Fenerbahce’s cards on a night they’ve been waiting for nearly seven years. The number 21 should then be rested for the next league match against Torino, scheduled for Monday, September 14th at 6:30 PM.
