Gennaro Gattuso has reportedly reached an agreement to become the new coach of Al Taawoun in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Milan, Napoli and Valencia coach most recently worked at Olympique Marseille, where he managed just 24 games from September 2023 to February 2024.
He amassed nine wins, eight draws and seven defeats with the French side.
According to Arab News and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gattuso has agreed terms with Al Taawoun for next season and the club is now finalising the details of the contract.
The club is currently fourth in the Saudi Pro League table and there are two remaining games to be played this term.
Gattuso is well-travelled as a tactician, going through various countries including Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Spain and France.
Now 46, the former midfielder spent most of his playing career at Milan from 1999 to 2012, but also represented Perugia, Glasgow Rangers, Salernitana and FC Sion.
He had been one of the candidates mentioned to take over at Torino next season.
