Gaviões da Fiel meet Corinthians chief over probes and statute reform

On the afternoon of this Wednesday (4th), the leadership of the organized supporters group Gaviões da Fiel, composed of President Ale, Vice Presidents Fantasma and Serginho, and communications advisor Alex Da Mata, participated in a meeting with the President of the Corinthians Deliberative Council, Romeu Tuma Jr.

According to the investigation by Central do Timão, one of the main topics discussed was the progress of the investigations into the diversion of the club's sports materials, with emphasis on the hearings held last Tuesday (3rd). On that occasion, there was a disagreement involving President Osmar Stabile, the Justice Commission, and the President of the Deliberative Council himself, due to the absence of a previously summoned employee.

Besides this subject, two other important points were on the meeting's agenda. The first concerns the text that will be submitted to a vote in the process of reforming the Statute, specifically regarding the possibility of granting voting rights to members of the Fiel Torcedor program in the club's presidential elections. The second involves the request for updates on the processes involving former presidents Andrés Sanchez, Duilio Monteiro Alves, and Augusto Melo.

Right after the meeting, Romeu Tuma Jr. will conduct, on the night of this Wednesday, the tenth public hearing on the Statute reform, the last with public attendance at Parque São Jorge. The meeting will be dedicated to general and transitional provisions, as well as expanding debates on finances and regulations.
