Gaviões da Fiel visited Parque São Jorge to demand clarity from Corinthians president Osmar Stabile over a possible SAF and the transfer ban, according to Meu Timao.

After the meeting, the group issued a firm note stating the club must serve its supporters and that fundamental matters should not be handled opaquely or at arm’s length.

The main topic was a potential conversion of the football operation into a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol. Stabile denied taking part in meetings or receiving proposals from businessmen or members on the subject.

Even so, Gaviões sought explanations about SAFiel and any non-binding letter of intent with the group, a preliminary document allowing market studies without commitment to a sale. They argued the absence of an official stance is unjustifiable and urged a meeting with the project’s backers, the board, the Conselho Deliberativo and the CORI so the matter is debated transparently or dropped.

Transfer business also featured. The club faces four registration sanctions, three from FIFA and one from the CBF, with the latest on Tuesday over roughly R$ 6.2 million owed to Midtjylland for Charles, signed in July 2024, which carries a three-window block.

Those debts now exceed R$ 23 million. Until they are paid or renegotiated, Corinthians cannot register reinforcements. Stabile said he is studying ways to regularise finances and enable payments, but the group said promises are not enough and it will seek deadlines and tangible results while closely tracking decisions on finances and any SAF discussion.
