Gaviões give letter to Corinthians president, call for club talks

Representatives of Gaviões da Fiel, the largest organized supporters' group of Corinthians, were at Parque São Jorge this Saturday (15th), where they delivered a letter to President Osmar Stabile. The letter was signed in conjunction with five other supporter groups – Camisa 12, Pavilhão 9, Estopim da Fiel, Coringão Chopp, and Fiel Macabra – demanding the club take action in light of the serious political and economic situation it is facing.

In the document, Gaviões condemned what they described as the use of Corinthians as a "space for vanity and ego," demanding respect for the club and unity among all who defend it. They warned that each day without unity deepens the institutional crisis and that only collective strength could prevent the club's downfall, urging those who claimed to love Corinthians to take action.

The document also demanded that all groups presenting governance projects be called for a joint meeting, with a deadline for response by midnight on Friday (21st). It concluded that without dialogue and unity, it would become clear who truly cared about Corinthians, emphasizing that the mobilization involves all fans, not just organized group members.

Immediately after the document was delivered, Central do Timão exclusively interviewed the presidents of Corinthians and Gaviões da Fiel. Osmar Stabile validated the initiative of the organized groups, stating he was in favor of scheduling the meeting: “Yes, I received a letter from you (supporter groups) to hold meetings. We will organize it, no problem. I am willing to help.”

He continued on the subject. “Obviously, we have to address all those interested in Corinthians. Gaviões is very interested in Corinthians, working for Corinthians. I said that every time they come here to try to help the president, they are helping Corinthians. So we will get closer to work together to change Corinthians' situation. I am willing to help in every aspect,” he said.

Ale expressed satisfaction with the action taken at Parque São Jorge: “We are all leaving very satisfied, right? It was a very productive day here at the club, we spoke with several leaders, we just spoke with the president, we brought an open letter for everyone to lock themselves in a room and debate Corinthians. I think it's the moment, right? There's nothing more to wait for. And the president received us with great attention and said he will arrange this meeting.”

He continued, acknowledging the differences in opinions within the club's political wings, but emphasized the need for unity to change the current scenario. “We know there are differences between A and B, it's normal, right? But when it comes to Corinthians, I think everyone has to debate seriously. The way things are here, it's difficult, it's no news to anyone. But the important thing now is for everyone to lock themselves in a room and come out with a single model that really has an effect,” he concluded.

During Saturday, Gaviões themselves published a note explaining the initiative, and soon after, SAFIEL also expressed support, praising the action of the organized groups – although the project was not directly mentioned in the letter or official note. “IN DEFENSE OF SPORT CLUB CORINTHIANS PAULISTA

We cannot accept that the club continues to be a stage for vanity and an arena for ego battles. Corinthians belongs to the people, the Fiel Torcida, to everyone who wears this jersey. And it demands respect.

Enough of the mess. Enough of division. Every day without unity is an open wound in the heart of every Corinthians fan. The club is on the brink of the abyss, and only the strength of the collective can prevent the fall.

Those who say they love Corinthians need to prove it now, not with words, but with actions. It's time to sit at the same table, eye to eye, and build a future worthy of the most Brazilian, most popular, and most beloved club in this country.

All who have presented governance projects must be called for a joint meeting. There are no more excuses. There is no more time.

Gaviões da Fiel demands that the club schedule this meeting and return confirmation to us by midnight next Friday (21/11).

If there is no unity, if there is no dialogue, it will be clear to the entire Corinthians Nation who truly thinks of Corinthians and who only thinks of themselves.

This act is not just of the organized supporters. It is of every Corinthians fan. It is part of our history, the essence of our people. Everyone, without exception.

Let it be recorded: We will not retreat. Never!

The Fiel will not rest until there is a real commitment to the future of Corinthians. The fight is eternal because Corinthians is eternal. And the Fiel will never abandon its mission.”
