Genesis Antwi joins Strasbourg on loan from Chelsea | OneFootball

Genesis Antwi, the Sweden Under-21 international right-back, has joined Strasbourg on loan from Chelsea. RC Strasbourg said in a statement that the 19-year-old had arrived.

The move continues busy dealings between the clubs after Valentin Barco’s transfer to Chelsea, with Antwi heading the other way. Strasbourg had targeted him in last summer’s window and now bring him in to aid his development.

A Chelsea academy product, Antwi has made only two first-team appearances. He played 21 minutes in the Europa Conference League in 2024-25 under Enzo Maresca.

Under contract at Chelsea until 2028, he becomes Strasbourg’s sixth signing of the summer. He follows Diogo Sousa, Angelo Candido, Mateo Del Blanco, Benjamin Brantlind and Milosz Piekutowski.

Antwi linked up with the first-team squad on Monday.
