Reports in Italy and the UK claim that Genoa are among the clubs interested in a potential summer deal for Wales international and Stoke City winger Sorba Thomas, who has also been linked with West Ham and various others.

According to reports from MailOnline and TMW, Genoa are part of the growing list of clubs interested in a potential deal for the 27-year-old left winger. West Ham, Coventry City and VfB Stuttgart have also been mentioned as potential destinations.

Thomas, who made the jump from the fifth tier to the second division of English football in 2020, scored 10 goals from 45 league outings for Stoke City in the Championship in 2025-26.

His current employers reportedly value him in the region of €10.5m (£9m). Thomas has another two years remaining on his current contract with Stoke, expiring in the summer of 2028.

TMW adds, however, that if a ‘bidding war’ were to kick off for Thomas this summer, then there is a high possibility that Genoa could be priced out of the equation.
