Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino commends Dybala: “His decision to stay is a good advert for football.”

Genoa manager Alberto Gilardino praised Paulo Dybala during his recent press conference.

In light of the Argentine’s controversial decision to stay in Rome and reject Al Qadsiah’s offer, Gilardino shared his opinion on the matter.

“Money is absolutely not everything,” Gilardino told reporters. “The passion, the momentum, the emotion that a player experiences in a city, in a place is very personal. You have to experience them, you have to feel them.”

“I believe that what went through Dybala was this. And it was a good advert for football,” Gilardino continued.

“It was a good look for our league, because an important player like him having made an important choice like him was a good thing.”
