Flamengo beat Independiente del Valle in the quarter-finals and Estudiantes knocked out Corinthians. Fluminense saw off Platense in the previous round and Palmeiras eliminated LDU.

The Flamengo v Estudiantes tie is set for the weeks of 14 and 21 October, with the first leg in Argentina and the return at the Maracanã.

Flamengo finished the group stage with the best overall record, giving them the advantage of playing the second leg of each knockout tie at home.

The Rio rivals are on opposite sides of the bracket, so they can meet only in the final, scheduled for 28 November at the Estadio Centenario in Uruguay.

Flamengo are the defending champions after Filipe Luís’s side beat Palmeiras 1-0 in 2025 through Danilo’s goal, becoming the first Brazilian club to win the competition four times. They are now chasing back-to-back titles in 2026.
