Germany drop to 12th as Spain top FIFA world rankings

Germany have fallen from 10th to 12th in the latest FIFA world rankings, BuLi News reports.

The drop follows a disappointing 2026 World Cup, which included a shock Round of 32 exit to Paraguay on penalties.

Mexico, beaten in the last eight by England, and Colombia have moved above Germany into 10th and 11th respectively.

Spain have climbed to the summit after winning their second World Cup title yesterday in New York.

Argentina slip to second, ahead of France and England. Morocco and Brazil rise to fifth and sixth as Portugal fall two places.

Belgium and the Netherlands have traded positions, now eighth and ninth respectively.
