Niclas Füllkrug remains in the frame for Germany’s World Cup squad despite a lengthy absence from Julian Nagelsmann’s side. Bild reports that he is currently viewed as the third-choice striker behind Kai Havertz and Nick Woltemade.
The 33-year-old has not featured for the national team since June, a gap of almost 10 months.
The report also indicates Stuttgart’s Deniz Undav is pencilled in as the third attacking midfielder behind Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry.
Füllkrug moved to AC Milan on loan from West Ham in January in search of more game time. He has scored once in 14 outings for the Serie A side.
At international level, he has 14 goals in 24 appearances for Germany.
