Germinal and Guillermo Brown head into Sunday’s round seven of the Fase Reválida, Zona B, with a firm chance to clinch safety, according to SuperDepor.com.
At 11:00, Germinal visit Fundación de Amigos por el Deporte de Mendoza. Exequiel Agüero will referee, with assistants Fernando Ruarte and Matías Noguera.
The Verde are on a barren run, three without a win or a goal, and need points in Mendoza. Play-offs are the priority, with survival virtually assured.
At 15:00, Guillermo Brown host Atlético San Martín at the Raúl Conti in Madryn. Leandro Hartfiel takes charge, assisted by Danilo Viola and Rodrigo Moreno.
Recent wins over Santamarina and Sol de Mayo have lifted La Banda. Corrales’s side are in the play-off fight and look well set to stay up.
Relegation is by combined points from the Primera Fase and Reválida. Already safe in Zona B, with nine points left, are FADEP 31, Deportivo Rincón 30 and San Martín 30.
Then come Costa Brava 27, Germinal 27, Brown 26, Sol de Mayo 24 and Juventud Unida 24, with Santamarina de Tandil 19 and Círculo Deportivo 18 in the drop zone.
Germinal are eight clear and Brown seven, with three to play. They will be safe by widening that gap or keeping more than six over Santamarina and Círculo after this round.
Play-off standings, San Martín 11, Rincón 11, FADEP 10, Germinal nine, Costa Brava nine, Brown nine, Juventud Unida seven, Sol de Mayo six, Santamarina six, Círculo Deportivo five.
