Germinal continued pre-season work at El Fortín under head coach Andrés Iglesias, sharpening up for the Torneo Federal "A", which could begin towards the end of March.

According to SuperDepor.com, more than 30 players were involved, a mix of new arrivals and local talent. The group opened with physical work, then moved into a full football practice on the stadium pitch.

Drills focused on ball recovery in tight areas, heightened attention to the second ball, and quick regains of possession.

The squad are still getting to know one another and the coaching staff, an important step in building the team. Local players are fully engaged, aware that starting places will be hard won.

It is too early for firm judgements on individual displays, but a strong group dynamic already stands out.

Iglesias has outlined a plan to add one reinforcement per line, namely a defender, a midfielder and a forward.

In competition terms, Deportivo Rincón could switch to the Cuyo section, while Alvarado of Mar del Plata would join the South. The South Zone could therefore feature 10 clubs, namely Germinal, Brown, Sol de Mayo, Cipolletti, Villa Mitre, Olimpo, Alvarado, Santamarina, Kimberley and Círculo Deportivo.
