Getafe to face Brighton and Ajax in Conference League league phase | OneFootball

Getafe have discovered their opponents for the 2026/27 Conference League league phase after Thursday's draw at Monaco's Grimaldi Forum.

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that Getafe, led by José Bordalás, return to Europe after finishing seventh in LaLiga EA Sports last season. They reached the league phase by edging Partizan 4-3 on aggregate.

It is their fourth European campaign, following 2007-2008, 2010-2011 and 2019-2020. They were placed in pot three, and will play three home and three away.

Alongside Brighton and Ajax, their opponents are Lugano, Inter Escaldes, Iberia Tbilisi and Union Craiova. Home games are against Brighton, Lugano and Inter Escaldes, with trips to Ajax, U. Craiova and Iberia Tbilisi.

The league phase runs from September to December over six rounds. The top eight go straight to the last 16, sides finishing nine to 24 enter a two-legged play-off, and teams placed 25 to 36 are eliminated.

Matchday one is on 15 October, with the full fixture list to be confirmed in the coming days.
