Today, he’s Sunderland’s sporting director, but Florent Ghisolfi didn’t miss the opportunity to recall his season at Roma.
Interviewed by the Sunderland Echo, the French executive recounted his feelings during his year with the Giallorossi: “We played so many games without losing, there was great energy at the club, as well as in the stadium.”

“It was fantastic. In the end, we managed to qualify for Europe.”
Ghisolfi then candidly analyzed even the more difficult moments he experienced in the capital, while still praising the work he’s done within the club.
“The start of the season was difficult, but I built a lot at the club, so what I want to say is that ultimately, I think I had a great experience in Rome. It’s been a fantastic journey.”
