France Football report that 27-year-old French central midfielder Giannelli Imbula is in advanced talks with Russian outfit FC Sochi about a short-term contract, after recently reaching a mutual termination agreement with Championship side Stoke City, resulting in the ex-Marseille and EA Guingamp man becoming a free agent.
FC Sochi Sporting Director Dmitry Rubashko confirmed the Sport-Express that he was close to a deal with Imbula.
