South African international Gift Links continued his rich vein of fine form as his side, AGF, claimed a 3-1 victory over OB in the DBU Pokalen quarter-final on Sunday.

Having lost 1-0 in the first-leg, AGF made their intentions clear from the get-go as they opened the scoring through Patrick Mortense 13 minutes from the first whistle.

Links doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time, before Noah Ganaus pulled one back for the visitors five minutes from time.

Felix Beijmo scored the decisive goal in stoppage time to ensure AGF seal passage to the semi-final of the Danish Cup, as they seek for their first trophy since the 1995/96 campaign.

Meanwhile, Links, who was nominated for the Danish Superliga Player of the Month award for November, has scored four goals and provided as many assists in 22 matches in all competitions.

Despite his eye-catching displays in the Scandinavian country, the former Cape Town City star couldn't play himself into Hugo Broos' squad for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
