Tigres Monterrey striker André-Pierre Gignac (36), finished as top-scorer of Mexico’s Finalización Championship on Sunday, with 11 goals in 16 matches, as reported by RMC.
It is the third time that the former Toulouse and Marseille striker has achieved the feat, having also done so in the Finalización Championship in 2016 (13 goals) and the Apertura Championship in 2018 (14 goals).
The former French international (36 caps, 7 goals), who was last week called a “legend” by team-mate Florian Thauvin (29), has scored 164 goals for Tigres, becoming their all-time leading goal-scorer in the process.
