However, according to transfer pundit Florian Plettenberg, the American winger is heading to England to undergo his medical tests with Premier League side Nottingham Forest ahead of an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

The report claims Reyna will join the Premier League side on a temporary loan transfer until the end of the season and that Forest will have an option to buy for €15-20m.

According to the report, the English side have always been in the front row to sign the 21-year-old.

Fiorentina are now preparing to welcome Andrea Belotti on loan from Roma but will continue searching for a new left winger in the last two days of the January transfer window.
