Girona vs. Mallorca; three golden points at stake | OneFootball

Girona FC faces a new LaLiga challenge this Friday at Montilivi with the visit of RCD Mallorca, in a match that will be played at 9 PM. There are only five matches left to finish the championship, and the standings are extremely tight. In the case of Girona and Mallorca, only three points separate them; Girona is fifteenth, and Mallorca is seventeenth.

Girona comes into the match after losing 2-1 against Valencia and 2-3 at Montilivi against Real Betis.  They also drew 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu against Real Madrid and secured a 1-0 home victory against Villarreal. As for Mallorca, their matches have resulted in a 2-1 defeat at Alavés, a 1-1 draw at Son Moix against Valencia, a resounding 3-0 victory against Rayo Vallecano, and a 2-1 win against Real Madrid.

The last three official encounters between the two teams have been slightly favorable to Girona. The most recent was played on January 4 of this year at Son Moix, with Girona winning 1-2. Before that, on May 5, 2025, Girona won 1-0 at Montilivi. The third was a Mallorca victory by 2-1 in December 2024.
