On Friday, Corinthians forward Gisela Robledo was named in Colombia’s squad for the October international window, with fixtures against Venezuela on 10 and 13. The number seven will be available to coach Angelo Marsiglia.

According to Meu Timao, the list also includes Brazil-based players Katherine Tapia and Ana Guzmán of Palmeiras, Lorena Bedoya and Gabriela Rodríguez of Cruzeiro, and Wendy Bonilla of Santos. Former Corinthians defender Daniela Arias is also selected.

Robledo becomes the fifth Corinthians player called for this window. Defender Thaís Ferreira, midfielder Duda Sampaio, and forwards Jaqueline and Jhonson will represent Brazil against Argentina on 10 and 13 October.

Her call-up leaves her a doubt for Corinthians’ Libertadores Feminina opener against Colo-Colo on 15 October at 17:00 Brasília time.

Corinthians are seeking an agreement with Palmeiras and Cruzeiro to charter a private plane to speed the travel of their internationals. The plan would take the called-up players from Recife, venue of Brazil’s final friendly, to Quito, the host city of the Libertadores.

The expectation is for the players to arrive in Ecuador’s capital by 14 October, before lunchtime. This season, Robledo has played 25 times for Corinthians, scoring three goals and providing four assists. She signed a contract extension at the end of August, running until mid 2027.
