Gladbach ‘to join’ Ipswich and Hull in chase for Swiss centre-half Karim Sow

FussballTransfers.com reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach are interested in Lausanne-Sport defender Karim Sow. Newly promoted Premier League sides Ipswich Town and Hull City are also keen, as is Racing Strasbourg of Ligue 1.

Sow, a 23-year-old Swiss centre-half of Senegalese descent, established himself as a regular last season.

Any deal for the Swiss Super League defender is likely to be in the region of four to five million euros.

He has already made two starts this season, helping Lausanne to a 1-0 win over FC Basel and a 1-1 draw with Grasshopper.
