That’s all to do with Ibrox this weekend and for Celtic the chance to take some revenge for the last two defeats against theRangers so that Celtic can collect the Sky Sports Summer Bragging Rights Cup and also win the head-to-head battle against theRangers for the season, with the score currently tied at two wins each.
“We want to win every game, it’s not only theRangers game that we want to win, otherwise, you cannot be champions,” said Engels, with a lovely little dig about Celtic’s outstanding consistency in contract to theRangers‘ woeful inconsistency.
“Of course, it’s a big game and it is big also for us because we lost the last two,” Engels noted at todays PFA Scotland Player of the Year awards launch where the nominees for the various categories were named and Engels was included within the Young Player of the Year in the Scottish Premiership category.

“Everybody was really disappointed about those two games so it’s up to us to now take revenge,” Arne said starting the pre-match rivalry in fine style.
On his nomination for Young Player of the Year the Celtic midfielder is clearly delighted to have received enough votes from his fellow professionals in the league to earn him a place in the top four.
And he’s all thrilled at winning the league in his first season and being able to hit the ground running as a Celtic player where the mindset is so different to what he’d been used to previously in German football where it was all about not losing.
“It’s an amazing feeling,” Arne said. “It’s my first and I cannot wait to get other ones. It’s like a bit of a drug that you want to achieve so much and win so much. It’s an amazing feeling.
“I’m here to try and win everything. That’s also a different mindset than I had maybe in Augsburg. It wasn’t really about winning everything, but not really losing. Here it’s totally different.
“You’re expected to win and that’s a nice feeling for me because I had also that mindset already. It was easy for me to come in here and get on track with the boys and do the same things that they also did already last year.”
On his nomination for Young Player of the Year Engels added: “I’m trying to improve every day so it would be an amazing feeling to get a reward for it, everybody wants that.
“But that’s not the main goal. The main goal is all the trophies. There’s still one to play for and still a few more games in the league that we want to end really strong.”
